What a cookie is

How long cookies last

Some of the cookies above are session cookies, deleted automatically when you close your browser. Others are persistent and stay on your device for the length of time shown in the table, after which they expire and are set again on your next visit if the cookie is still active.

Third party cookies

LocalRent, the booking technology behind the search and reservation flow on this site, loads only after you interact with a Book button and can set its own cookies at that point, covered by the partner attribution category above. Where any other third party service sets a cookie on this site, that service's own policy governs how the cookie works, and we place it in the category it belongs to in the table above.

How to control cookies

Most browsers let you view, block or delete cookies from Settings or Privacy, and you can set your browser to ask before it accepts one. Turning off strictly necessary cookies will stop parts of this site working, including the search form and the booking flow. Turning off preferences, analytics or partner attribution cookies does not stop you using the site, it only stops the function each one supports.

Do Not Track

Some browsers send a Do Not Track signal. There is no single accepted standard for how a website should respond to it, so this site does not currently change its behaviour based on that signal. You can still control cookies directly through your browser settings as described above.
